Taylor Swifts surprise 8th studio album, 'Folklore' is no doubt amazing so it not surprised that it has gone #1! It went number 1 on Billboards album chart in less then 24 hours! This album had the third highest sales and in it'd debut week selling 846,000 copies. It was only beat out by Talyor's last two album that hold the top two spots with 'Reputation' having sold 1.2 million copies and 'Lover' 867,000 copies. Cue some Alicia keys because this girl is on fire! haha
That's not the only record that she has broken with this album. Her debut single 'Cardigan' went Number 1 as well making Taylor the first artist in Billboard chart history to debut at Number 1 on the "Billboard Hot 100" & the "Billboard 200! in the same week!
And if that wasn't enough for you, you'll notice she has 2 more songs in the Top 10 of the "Hot 100." Her song's 'The 1' and 'Exile' featuring Bon Iver made to the number 4 & number 6 spots too!
