Oh to be a fly on the wall! Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa joined Ryan Seacrest on-air on Tuesday, November 24, on the heels of their “Prisoner” collaboration release. The songstresses took a trip down memory lane and recalled when they first met at the 2019 Met Gala.
“We took a nap on Katy Perry’s hamburger,” Miley hilariously recalled to Seacrest. “She was dressed as this big hamburger and everybody was partying and having a good time and me and Dua went and rested our heads on Katy Perry’s hamburger.”
Perry, as fans well remember, dressed as a chandelier for the 2019 Met Gala red carpet and later changed into a Jeremy Scott-designed hamburger for the annual fundraising costume gala.
Fast-forward to 2020 and Dua and Miley have since teamed up together on track “Prisoner” off Miley’s forthcoming album Plastic Hearts.
“This is not the first song we’ve actually cut together,” Miley shared. “We cut a couple songs really wanting to get something right, something that really just individually represented us entirely and I think we did that.”
