Hey it's Kristin! I'm a huge fan of British TV, and I love "Call the Midwife." Now I know, midwives living with nuns in the mid 60s doesn't sound like it would be a popular theme for a TV series, but the show is heartwarming and fun and I am a huge fan. Over the years the BBC series has acquired a large following after airing in the states on PBS and on Netflix.
And here's great news! Fans of the series will be thrilled to hear that the show has been picked up for three more seasons! The show's official Twitter posted, 'Two more series (plus Christmas specials) of multiple award-winning #CallTheMidwife are planned for @BBCOne.' Season 10 premiered in the U.K. a few weeks ago. Can't wait for it to debut here in the U.S.!
