Apparently there's a dish soap shortage, though no one can really explain why. Management at a Walmart in Edmond, Oklahoma posted this note in the dish soap aisle explaining that there was a shortage of the cleaning product. The makers of Dawn and Gain dish liquid soap, Procter & Gamble, said some of their products may be in short supply because of high demand, but that it's only a “short-term inconvenience.” Though the shortage could continue through December 1st. Good thing I buy mine in bulk!
