Snickers Pledges 1 Million Candy Bars if Halloween Date Changed!

Almost 122,000 people have signed the petition on change.org to change the date of Halloween to the last Saturday of October. Adding fuel to the fire, Mars Inc., the maker of Snickers, says they will give away one million candy bars if the official date of Halloween does get changed. People are very polarized on this issue, and making their thoughts known on social media. Lots of parents are for it, saying trick or treating on weeknights is dangerous and that there are 3,800 Halloween related injuries each year. Others are opposed, tweeting that Snickers is “crazy” for getting involved. One person named Tess P. tweeted, "This is All Hallows’ Eve. It’s the day before All Saints Day on Nov 1. So effing stupid. Want a candy day? Make a new holiday. Leave Halloween tf alone." Another said, "#Snickers will definitely not be Included in my shopping list for #Halloween."

What do you think? Would you sign this petition?
