Will it be another winning week for Wonder Woman? She might get some competition from Cars 3, although that is getting mixed reviews. Some critics liked it...but one said, “[cars 3] feels like the series, at the end of the road, is running on fumes of nostalgia for its earliest self.” I'm sure it'll be popular with the kids.
Also opening today is Rough Night starring Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon and Zoë Kravitz...yup Lenny's daughter with Lisa Bonet. It sounds like the chick version of The Hangover, about five onetime college girlfriends who get together and rent a house at the beach and take Miami by storm for an out of control bachelorette weekend. Rough Night is getting some rough reviews, only 51% of critics liked it. One critic said, "If one were to edit out all the insipidly stupid stuff in "Rough Night" --- the film would be a half-hour sitcom." Ouch.
