'Tiger King' Star Joe Exotic Is In Coronavirus Quarantine In New Prison

Joe Exotic is not safe from the coronavirus, even behind bars. The Tiger King star has been transferred from Grady County Jail in Oklahoma to Federal Medical Center, a 1,500-inmate facility, in Fort Worth, Texas after inmates in his former prison tested positive for COVID-19. Because of his exposure, the 57-year-old big cat enthusiast was directed to quarantine upon his arrival to the new facility.

Exotic's fourth husband Dillon Passage shared the news with Andy Cohen on Wednesday (April 1).

"We speak like three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases," he explained. "I’ve yet to speak to him since he moved.”

Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is serving a 22-year sentence for animal abuse and murder for hire charges. He recently filed a $94 million lawsuit against the federal government, his former business partner Jeff Low, and several other former colleagues. He also asked for a presidential pardon.

The buzzworthy Netflix docuseries is being adapted into a scripted mini series, and it was recently revealed that Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon was cast to play Exotic's nemesis Carole Baskin.

While we eagerly await the mini series' arrival, here are 10 Joe Exotic music videos that are pure entertainment gold.
