The owner of the New England Patriots is pulling his donations to Columbia University as pro-Palestinian protests continue.

Robert Kraft issued a statement through his organization, the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

He called the protest "virulent hate" and said he's "no longer confident that Columbia can protect its students and staff."

Kraft has donated millions to his alma mater over the years but says it's "no longer an institution I recognize."

Kraft also proposed an end to "tenure" as a way to help bring accountability to higher education.
